The paua shell measures approximately 14cm x 9cm (5 1/2' x 3 1/2') and is A Grade. It comes to you from Fiordland, New Zealand, where the finest paua shells are found. They are much bigger and stronger than cheaper polished paua shells, and the colours are more intense.
