This NZ Greenstone Whale Tooth Necklace is beautifully bound and carved.

The whale is a significant creature to Maori, believed to guide in navigation, as well as being a food and utensil source.  The whale is a spiritual symbol of protection.

The simple carving is finished off with beautiful binding, and the large piece ensures that it will really stand out when you wear it. 

The pounamu whale tooth measures approximately 8cm (3 1/4') long, and hangs from a long black plaited cord with adjustable kots, so you can wear it where you want on your chest.
