This Merino Possumsilk Cable Sweater has such a pretty neckline, called a Yoke Neck. The yoke cable neck lifts this sweater to a different realm, one that is really feminine, and very flattering.

The sweater (we call it a jersey or a jumper in New Zealand) is made from natural fibres, namely NZ Merino Wool, Possum Fur, and Pure Mulberry Silk. A combination that gives you the warmest of sweaters but without the weight of traditional acrylic or thick wool sweaters. So it combines cosiness with comfort.

The mix of fibres in the yarn is 35% possum fur, 55% fine merino wool, and 10% pure Mulberry Silk. Possum fur and silk are smooth fibres that trap warmth in their core. Merino wool has a crimp that traps the warmth from your body. Combined they are warmer than just wool.

Merino also has natural properties that resist bacteria, so you can wear merino for days without it emitting body odour. And if it gets wet, its incredible moisture-wicking ability spreads moisture across its surface, allowing it to evaporate, keeping you warm and dry.
